Granite is nearly always        massive , hard and tough. It is  strongly reduced in the presence of water.

Granite is still the most popular choice for natural stone users, due to its durability and resistance to scratching, staining, and etching. Granite can  take a higher heat than other natural stone. It is often used in Kitchens, Counter Tops, Stair case and Outdoor uses.

      

Quartz is a composite material made of crushed stone bound together by an adhesive.

 

The quartz based product is used primarily for Kitchen counter tops and Bathroom Vanity tops as an alternative to granite. Quartz is also possess extremely high scratch and heat  resistance.

Quartz slabs are created from about 90% natural quartz – one of the hardest common materials around. They’re mixed with pigments and resins that allow for the control of color and pattern.

Onyx primarily refers to the parallel banded variety of the silicate mineral chalcedony.

 

The colors of its bands range from white toIts natural color is translucent white.

The other colors usually come from minute concentrations of chemicals carried by water dripping into the cave.  

 

It is often used for interior Counter Tops and Feature walls.

Travertine is a type of limestone that is formed by evaporation of hot water containing dissolved calcium, thus leaving finely crystalized calcite deposits. 

 

Its natural color is white. The other colors come from chemicals in the water and other debris. 

 

Travertine is very durable, often used for interior & exterior wall cladding, Flooring, and Paving around the world.
